Bachelor of Science (Economics) Curriculum

 

 The Bachelor of Science (Economics) is a 4-year programme. It is an uniquely designed broad-based  programme that equips graduates with analytical tools and knowledge to meet the challenges of the  international workplace.


 Students may opt for a second major in any of the following: accounting, finance, law, marketing and  information system management. Outstanding students may also apply for direct entry into the double  degree programme. Under this programme, the student may graduate in 4 years with 2 degrees in any  combination in accountancy, economics, business management or information systems management.
 Each student is required to complete 35 courses from all the subject areas. Each subject area has a list  of courses whereby each student chooses his/her courses according to his/her preferred interests and  pace. Each student must read a minimum of 3 courses and a maximum of 6 courses per term.
